Information collected
When you use an enquiry or voice-recommendation form, the information collected may include your name, email address, experience level, areas of interest, anything you choose to share about your goals and, if you use the recommendation service, the short voice recording you upload. If you become a client, additional information may include correspondence, project notes, recordings, delivery details, invoices and payment-related records.
The website may also receive limited technical information required to serve pages securely, such as IP address, browser type, request time and error logs.
How the information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, listen to a submitted voice sample, recommend a suitable service, plan and deliver voice reel work, communicate about sessions, provide completed files, keep necessary business records, protect the website from spam or misuse and meet legal or accounting obligations. A recommendation recording is not published, used in marketing or shared publicly without your separate permission. Create My Voice Reel does not use it for biometric identification or to train AI systems.
Lawful bases
Enquiry information is normally processed because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract and because there is a legitimate interest in answering genuine business enquiries. Client information is processed where necessary to perform a contract and meet legal obligations. Consent will be used where it is specifically required.
Service providers and sharing
Personal information is not sold. It may be processed by trusted service providers where necessary to operate the website or deliver the service. These may include Netlify for website hosting and form handling, Stripe for payment processing, email and cloud-storage providers, and professional advisers where required.
The Resource Library uses a YouTube privacy-enhanced embed. YouTube may process technical information when you choose to play the video. Links to external services, including Stripe and YouTube, are governed by those providers' own privacy notices.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, the provider is expected to use an appropriate legal safeguard for international transfers.
How long information is kept
Short voice samples submitted for a recommendation are normally deleted within 90 days after the recommendation is sent, unless you ask for the recording to be retained or go on to become a client. Other unsuccessful or inactive enquiry information is normally kept only for as long as needed to respond and manage potential follow-up, and generally no longer than 24 months. Client project information may be retained for longer where it is useful for delivery, revisions, repeat work, dispute resolution or legal and accounting requirements. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing and receive portable data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

Cookies, analytics and embedded content
