Choose this package if you haven’t made a voice reel before and you want a couple of samples of your voice outside of the commercial category. The Beginner Voice Reel Package is the essential starting point to your journey as a Voice Artist.

Description

The Beginner Voice Reel Package will demonstrate your voice with a number of samples in multiple different categories, in the following quantities:

x5 commercial samples (90 seconds), x1 Corporate sample (20-30 Seconds), and x1 Narrative sample (60-120 seconds).

You will also receive:

  1. A 20 minute Pre-Session Consultation
  2. Tailored script selection, specific to your needs
  3. 1-3 hours recording time
  4. Direction, to ensure your reads are varied
  5. All post production (music, editing, mixing & mastering)
  6. Delivery of your reel in .mp3 with our email template and tips for approaching agents.

    Working with Robert has been wonderful: I am an actress , but it was my first time recording professionally and Robert guided me from start to finish.

    We had a consultation where he got to know me, my voice and what kind of work I’d like to focus on and from that he built a list of scripts for each category. This list was fully interactive, so I had the option to add or change any of these scripts, but apart from the Narrative choice that he left up to me, everything else he found for me was spot on for my skills and potential. As English is my second language I was a bit apprehensive in terms of finding a good range of materials, but he was great at listening to my needs and working from there.

    The day of the recording we went full speed ahead, but never rushing the work, it always felt like we had plenty of time to work in detail and with precision, with no pressure and a lot of helpful directions/tips. Overall I really feel like he helped me shine through the work.

    I just received the final edit of the samples and I am super excited about the result! Can’t wait to build more on it.

    My personal advice is: spend some time before the session to find the “mood” of each script. No need to over rehearse it, but especially with the commercials once you have a good idea of the mood it will be much easier to play around with the words during the session.

    My biggest advice for anyone going into this is do all the prep Robert recommends in his planning emails. Watch the videos, find extra samples etc. It didn’t take long at all and it was so worth it. I really felt I went into the recording session with my best foot forward and as prepared as I could have to get the best Reel possible and get my moneys worth.

Yes! Our voice reels are for everyone. Young voices, old voices, raspy voices, shy voices… You should be a confident reader at a minimum. If you’re thinking of creating a reel which involves characters, you should have at least three different voices or accents to show off.

No. We record voice reels for everyone, at all ages. Should you or the individual you are booking a Voice Reel for be under the age of 18, we advise you to accompany them to the recording session. 

You can come to us with zero experience or as a pro. Our aim is to create a great voice reel for you whatever your experience. All you need to do is turn up. 

Our studio is a 20 minute walk from Walthamstow Central Station in London, E17. Once you’ve booked your session we’ll send you our address

Yes! We found our feet during the 2020 pandemic and as a result very experienced and accustomed to creating voice reels remotely. All of our remote services come with a free How to Build Your Home Studio consultation, so not only will you get a great reel, you’ll be set to work remotely as a Voice Artist.

When you book a remote recording you’ll get a FREE How To Set Up Your Home Studio consultation with tailored recommendations for microphones, headphones and sound proofing based on your computer and home environment. 

If you have never made a voice reel before, then we recommend starting with one of our Voice Reel Packages.

If you’re just looking to increase your portfolio of sector-specific voice samples, then our Industry Specific Voice Reels are for you.

If you have a range of characterful voices and accents, you should go with the Beginner Package Complete. If you don’t have a range of fun/silly voices and/or accents, you should steer towards the Beginner Package or Beginner Package Plus.

We always recommend starting with the Commercial Voice Reel and making sure that is fresh, as most UK agents prioritise commercial voice reels. If you have a portfolio of commercials already and you want to increase your reel with corporate texts, audiobook samples, documentary samples etc, then you should choose the Corporate & Narrative Voice Reel. Character Voice Reels are what they say on the tin, full of character (5+ different characters/accents).

We recognise that not all circumstances are under our control and that plans can change. We will always endeavour to work with you on rescheduling confirmed appointments. All we ask is that you can provide us 24hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your session. For sessions cancelled on the day, we can only refund 50% of the days fee.
